Jogava muito era muito habilidoso, mas a cabeça ñ ajudou, poderia ou melhor seria um grande jogador , mas .... os problemas extra campo derrubaram ele.
Me lembro dele com a camisa tricolor, era o meio campo do Grêmio na conquista da Libertadores em 1995 e vice do Mundial de Clubes quando infelizmente perdemos a final para o Ajax nos pênaltis, foi um jogador habilidoso no clube, mas manchou sua carreira quando abandonou a seleção na época que mostrava seu futebol, foi para o Kaiserslautern da Alemanha e depois foi para o Internacional, Palmeiras e entre outros clubes e até voltou pro próprio Grêmio mas não repetiu a boa fase, não era craque e sim um bom jogador.
