Bizu, ou melhor Cláudio Tavares Gonçalves é paulista de São Vicente, onde nasceu no dia 18 de Junho de 1960. Iniciou sua movimentada carreira na Caçadorense de Caçador-SC. Posteriormente atuou no Blumenau, Novo Hamburgo, Caxias, Avaí, Naútico, Sport Recife, Grêmio, entre tantos outros. Ao longo de sua atividade esportiva conquistou três títulos com o Naútico, um com o Sport e um com o Avaí. Artilheiro nato, acredita ter marcado mais de quatrocentos gols em partidas oficiais.
O gol inesquecível foi marcado num clássico Naútico x Santa Cruz, vencido pela sua equipe nos descontos. Marcou o gol sentado, de cabeça, após uma confusão na área do Santa Cruz. Considera Rubens Minelli, Ênio Andrade e Otacílio Gonçalves tenham sido os melhores técnicos que o orientaram. Declara que o antigo zagueiro colorado Pinga foi o melhor marcador que encontrou. Não deixava-o jogar sem apelar para a violência. Os melhore controavantes que viu atuar foram Roberto Dinamite, Dario e Careca. Quando garoto seus ídolos foram Pelé e Roberto Dinamite. Bizu está muito vinculado ao nosso estado, pois sua esposa é natural de Novo Hamburgo, onde está residindo atualmente. Com relação ao seu apelido Bizu, diz desconhecer o que significa. Foi lhe colocado quando estudava no primário, lá na sua São Vicente. Hoje todo o Brasil sabe que Bizu é sinônimo de artilheiro.
Assim resgatamos a história hutebolística de Cláudio Tavares Gonçalves, que o futebol brasileiro consagrou como Bizu, o "Matador".
O Cara era matador mesmo, no gauchão foi eleito como melhor centro avante do Novo Hamburgo na seleção do século e fazia gols no grêmio e no Inter, nos gauchões, no Caxias despachou o Gremio e foi campeao do 1°turno de 1987, era artilheiro do campeonato com 17 gols e foi vendido pro Palmeiras. No Náutico foi vice artilheiro do Brasileiráo de 1989, com 1 gol a menos que o Tulio(goias) e artilheiro da copa do Brasil de 1990, artilheiro no nautico, Esporte Recife e ajudou a derrubar o gremio pra segundona, por isso a raiva dos gremistas, se tiverem duvidas é só ler a revista PLACAR.
É isso ai quando tava no Gremio, foi perseguido por um diretor que era meio chegado a entrar nos vestiarios só pra ver os caras tomando banho, segundo dizem alguns jogadores da época, o cara era sério, e o tal diretor adorava os guris que subiam do juniores, o tal diretor ta por ai comentando futebol e rezando pra voltar pros vestiários e ver de novo os guris tomando banho,pois é acho que continua mordendo a fronha.hahahah
